I know I was and when you read this you will probably think there has to be an easier way!. Well there isnt, not without damaging the interior trim anyway. This is a big thumbs down to Hondas design team, though they probably had a good reason for doing it this way (I hope!). Here is a quick guide to on how to remove the rear 6x9 speakers form a coupe with pictures and FREE. May or may not be the same for 1992-1995 models, I havent seen one to compare. Please do not be put off by this, it really is easy when you know how and the results from quality speakers are well worth the effort. The following procedure requires you to unbolt seatbelt mounting points. These must be reinstalled with the correct sequence of washers, bushes and anchor plate, torqued to specifications that can be found in the service manual. Tools Required: 10mm Socket 12mm Socket 14mm Socket Phillips Screwdriver 1. Know your enemy: Rear seats have a 40/60 split and can be folded down, but to get to the speakers they have to come out.
