Audi RS5 photos leaked, might come with 450 HP V8 Posted: 21 Feb 2010 02:44 AM PST It seems somebody at Audi wasn’t really careful with the brochure for the new RS5 sportscar, and leaked a bunch of pictures of the BMW M3 coupe rival coming from Ingolstadt. As you can see, the RS5 has received new looks to differentiate itself from the regular S5, complete with new styling tweaks, honeycomb grille, enlarged air intakes and wheel arches, as well as a restyled rear bumper with integrated diffuser and two huge oval exhaust pipes. No word yet on what the engine will be, but many Audi fan forums are indicating to a naturally aspirated V8 engine, capable of 450 HP and also of putting the M3’s 420 HP in their place. Until Audi RS5 will be officialy presented at the Geneva Motor Show, I’m sure the pics in this photo gallery will satisfy you. Volkswagen CrossPolo presents itself before Geneva debut Posted: 21 Feb 2010 02:14 AM PST Volkswagen is keen on expanding the lineup of the new generation Polo compact hatchback, and after revealing the eagerly awaited GTI performance edition, the German company also unleashed the CrossPolo variant. The new model will share floor space with the GTI at the Geneva Motor Show and brings an array of “off-road” accessories, even though it will barely be suited to go up a grassy hill. The ride height has been increased a bit, 15mm, and as you can see, the already normal VW group off-road accessories are present in the form of plastic molding around the wheel arches, side skirts, as well as the front and rear bumpers. Customers will also find things like silver roof rails as well as spoiler in the front, complementing the honeycomb grille in the lower air intake. This rugged appearance will be completed with a set of 17-inch two-tone wheels. As usual, VW is offering the new CrossPolo with an array of six engines, three petrol ones: naturally aspirated 1.2 and 1.4, as well as a 1.2 TSI turbocharged, and three diesels. All of the power units can be ordered with a six-speed speed manual or a seven-speed DSG gearbox. You will be able to enjoy the VW CrossPolo in Geneva, and on the European market around summer. Don’t cross your fingers for a North American launch anytime soon. Source: Volkswagen Post published on Rpmgo.com Related posts:
